Version of Record online: 30 January 2024

Description unavailable

This paper proposes an interleaved coupled-inductor high step-up direct current (DC)–DC converter. The proposed converter has benefits such as low voltage stress across semiconductor elements, high voltage gain, and continuous input current which makes it suitable for applications such as renewable energy sources. In addition, to reduce the negative effects of leakage inductance and recover the energy stored in it, a diode-capacitor clamp circuit is used. Moreover, a comprehensive analysis has been done on the details of the performance of the proposed converter in different operation modes. Also, its design, the voltage and current equations of all the elements, and efficiency analysis are obtained. In addition, a comprehensive comparison has been made with some similar converters.
