THEMED ARTICLE: MODELLING, DESIGN, CONTROL, AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ADVANCED ISOLATED DC/DC CONVERTERS FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY APPLICATIONS
ORIGINAL RESEARCH
Comparative analysis of three‐phase dual active bridge converter with different transformer topology and modern universal control for DC microgrids
Version of Record online: 26 January 2024
The publication describes the use of modern universal control for multi-phase Dual Active Bridge (DAB) converters. It presents an in-depth analysis of the simulation and laboratory results. The unified method of controlling multi-phase converters, implemented in this design, simplifies the issues of DC microgrid control. The study also performs efficiency analysis and comparison of 3-phase, Star–Star, and Star–Delta DAB converters topologies.
