A novel vector control strategy for sensorless 3φ induction machines under single‐phase fault
Amir Mohamad Taghinezhad Vaskeh Mahaleh, Mahmood Ghanbari, Reza Ebrahimi

Version of Record online: 13 January 2024

Description unavailable

A novel rotor flux-based vector control strategy for Y-connected 3φ induction machines without speed sensor under the single-phase fault is proposed. Furthermore, a simple model-based single-phase fault detection mechanism based on the extended Kalman filter is suggested. The performance of the proposed control scheme for a 1 HP sensorless Y-connected 3φ induction machine prototype is validated by several experiments.

Sensorless model predictive control of permanent magnet synchronous motor based on hybrid parallel observer under parameter uncertainty
Tao Liu, Qingqing Zhao, Kangfan Zhao, Longnv Li, Gaojia Zhu

Version of Record online: 13 January 2024

Description unavailable

Model predictive control-based permanent magnet synchronous motor drive system has high dependence on parameter accuracy, while the traditional single observer architecture makes it difficult to solve the multi-parameter observation problem. By constructing an adaptive parameter observer and a sliding mode observer working in parallel, the variable exchange mechanism between the observers is designed and the current prediction model is reconstructed. The proposed algorithm improves the position identification precision under the uncertainty of the motor resistance and inductance, reducing the dependence of model parameters and improving the performance of sensorless model predictive control under parameter uncertainty.

Common mode far field radiation mechanisms and prediction of a buck converter with cables based on common mode voltage mutation method
Junping He, Han Wang, Pengyang Zhao, Weixin Wang, Lingling Cao

Version of Record online: 13 January 2024

Description unavailable

This study investigates the common mode (CM) driving sources of a regular Buck converter in depth, derives the approximate analytical formulas for far field radiation of horizontal power cables, and realizes the accurate prediction of far field CM radiation based on the CM voltage mutation method.
